The Metasemantics of The Metacognition

According to Brown (1980) & Flavell (1985, 1991), Metacognition is the ability to monitor one's current level of understanding and decide when it is not adequate. Perhaps many people who followed or are following the "fourth way or path or method" of GIG [George Ivanovich Gurdjieff] have not or are not able to recognize, understand and practice this important and crucial decision. However, I can show you the enigmatic look of GIG, but you shall find the fourth way yourselves.... still there are many more ways....Gurdjieff is the first synthesizer who made a nice amalgam of several ancient schools, and thus GIG is one of the precursors of the field, i.e., Metacognition.
